And The Winner Is...

In December we ran a contest in conjunction with the folks at the Bluefish dm_developer website where you could win a Bluefish Limited Edition iPod Nano, just by going to our audio page and downloading any one of our mp3 clips. We had an overwhelming response from you, our developer community. The winner of the drawing was Sherwin Harris from Brigham Young University. Congratulations Sherwin.

Look for more contests and food for your iPod over the next few months!

Updates

WDK 5 Reporting Component
This WDK 5 component allows you to run reports from within Webtop. The reports are specified using an XML file which contains a DQL query and formatting instructions. The Developer Program team will make use of this component to create administrative reports which will be released in the Component Exchange.
UPDATED Jan 17, 2006 with various bug fixes based on patches provided by Jonathan Wolter (jwolter) on the WDK Support Forums.

WDK Eclipse Plugin
WDK-based applications (e.g Webtop, WebPublisher, DA) consist of components and actions organized into various layers. Developing a WDK-based application involves customizing these components. This generally involves wading through deep folder hierarchies and XML files. This Eclipse plugin provides an abstraction over this folder structure and the XML config files.

UPDATES

  • Added a WDK controls listing and the ability to drag-drop a control onto a JSP editor.
  • Added ability to support various Java project structures.
  • Fixed a bug that did not refresh project contents correctly.
Thanks to Ingo Zitzmann(srzzii), Dave Claessens(claesda) and Harjit Singh(harjits) for submitting plugin feature requests and bugs in the WDK support forums.
