ECI Services Adapter Exchange

Documentum Enterprise Content Integration enables the integration of all content sources inside and outside the enterprise, allowing end users to access all relevant content with a single query - no matter where content is located and how it's accessed. Documentum ECI Services consists of a set of adapters designed to access respective content sources, a back-end query broker that federates each end user request, and a user interface that allows end users to formulate their requests and that sorts and analyzes search results.

ECI Services Adapters

Adapters link Documentum ECI Services and specific content sources, managing all aspects of communication and interaction with the sources. ECI Services Adapters make hundreds of sources available for use; ranging from industry-specific databases on the Web to local content archives, enterprise applications, and Web services anywhere in the world.

To use the adapters found on this page, you must first install the Documentum Adapter Developer Kit (ADK), to download the ADK click here, select 'Download Documentum Products' and then select the 'Documentum Enterprise Content Integration Services ADK' link. The ADK consists of software interfaces and tools that allow individuals to easily create new adapters within a graphical user interface (GUI). The ADK includes the Adapter Builder, which facilitates easy creation of new adapters for Web-based content sources.

How to use this site Use this site to download ready-to-use adapters, submit adapters for exchange and communicate with the ECI development community. This community is formed from ECI Services customers, Documentum partners, Documentum consulting groups and the ECI Services development team. The current set of available adapters is listed to the right. To pose and answer questions to other ECI developers, visit the ECI discussion forum.

Download an Adapter You have logged in using a guest account. The resources on this page are only available to Documentum customers and partners. Please log in using your Tech Support credentials or re-register for the Developer Program\nas a customer to get full access.

You can download adapters from this site as long as you are either an ECI Services customer or one of Documentum's partners. If you have an adapter that you would like to contribute to the community, please email developer_program@emc.com with a description of the adapter.
