EMC Developer Challenge

The EMC Developer Challenge is a unique program designed to engage the world wide developer community. Prepare to have your problem solving and development skills challenged in ways that will stretch, amuse and stump even the best developers. Earn recognition by sharing and showcasing your outstanding skills, insight, and vision with the global community. Compete, collaborate and profit from your work.

Everyone is encouraged to participate; all you have to do is register.

Challenge Categories

  Open Tournament: Open tournaments generally welcome all entries, depending on the specific challenge.     Invitational Tournament: Invitational tournaments provide a limited number of openings, usually targeted to customer and partner developers in the EDN.
  Countdown Challenge: Countdown challenges are bounded by time and can expire without a winner. In some cases, the best solution submitted by the end of the countdown will win. Work fast!   Bounty Alert! Bounty challenges post a bounty on the solution of a very specific problem. These challenges usually remain open until solved but do have expiration dates.

D6 Web Services Developer Challenge Documentum 6 is available, and with it full support for Services Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Web Services. Documentum 6 is the essential platform for quickly building content enabled business applications. With Documentum Foundation Services, developing and deploying ECM applications in a SOA framework couldn't get any easier.

How easy is it? Very! And to prove it, we issued a D6 Web Services Challenge with a $50,000 first prize and a total of $100,000 in prizes. The contestants used their ingenuity and creativity to develop a services based application in 30 days or less! Winners Announced! Click here to see the winning applications.

What's Ahead

We’re planning several challenges that stretch the limits of the EMC developer community. Stay tuned for increasingly competitive and specialized challenges offering plenty of opportunities to get involved! Spanning a broad range of platforms and development technologies, you can be sure there will be something for you to showcase your innovative problem solving abilities. There will be prizes for challenge winners and you earn points on the EDN Leaderboard just for participating.
