Inbox Vault

Description

InboxVault is a service built on top of Documentum 6, using DFS, and hMailServer, an open-source .NET-based email server. The contest entry began with the idea to create a mash-up where a user can "email the docbase". The project is growing to become an open-source solution for merging the ease of email and attachments with the convenience of a central content repository. The project plans include a web front-end for users to interact with content and a simple markup language to send and request content from the repository via e-mail. The idea of InboxVault is to create a service that makes getting to your content as easy as sending an e-mail.

This project was a honorable mention at the D6 Web Services challenge held in October 2007.

NOTE: This code was submitted for the developer challenge and is typically the product of less than ten days, done in addition to the submitter's regular work (a.k.a. late nights) and lots of caffeine. The project admins will update the code as their Sourceforge projects get online. Thank you for your understanding -- The EDN Team
